| Primary Responsibilities |

As President of Alter Construction Management, Ron Clarkson has overall responsibility for the organization's performance and provides leadership and direction. In that capacity, he oversees Alter Construction Management's strategic planning and operations to provide program-management, construction-management, general-contracting, design/build and interior-construction services to corporate and institutional clients. On a day-to-day basis, Clarkson works with clients to ascertain project requirements and coordinate all phases of the design disciplines to ensure the preparation of functional and cost-effective plans, bid documents, specifications and -- ultimately -- construction. |

In his time at Alter Construction Management, Clarkson has focused on providing program- and construction-management services to corporate and private clients, including major cultural institutions and not-for-profit organizations. His primary accomplishments are the renovation of the Chicago History Museum, Chicago, IL; the transformation of the legendary Biograph Theater for Victory Gardens Theater, Chicago, IL; the design/build of the Muntu Dance Theatre of Chicago, Chicago, IL; owner's representative for the DuSable Museum, Chicago, IL; the air-rights development, renovation and new construction of the Landmarks Condominium, Vail, CO; the construction of the 70,000 SF Madison Medical Plaza medical office building for Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center, Joliet, IL; the construction of Superior Ambulance Company's new 100,000 SF corporate headquarters, Elmhurst, IL; and owner's representation for the 145-unit Solstice on the Park, Chicago, IL. |
