Holy Family Memorial in Manitowoc, WI, wanted to provide innovative services to differentiate it from the competition. A primary component of that strategy was to develop a wellness center that would enhance existing ambulatory services.

Utilizing the Holy Family Memorial Harbor Town Campus and its anchor wellness center, the new facility integrates with the supporting ambulatory services in a financially successful customer friendly model. The Harbor Town Campus wellness center is the destination for members who utilize the center three to four times per week, resulting in hundreds of visits per day. This traffic level creates high visibility for the other ambulatory services provided at the same location. The opportunity to cross-market clinical, medical and wellness services accelerated the growth and financial success of the entire facility.

After its first fiscal operational year, Harbor Town's financial success and enhanced image positioned Holy Family Memorial’s wellness center as a new source of positive cash flow, assured a new stream of consumers and fulfills the continuum of care for the hospital.
